Manitoba University Campus

The program was essentially residential, residences for students and faculty, as well as workspaces attached to the university itself. The context, geography and climate forced us to think differently.

We were able to design a “green” complex according to North American criteria. Canadian wells, the search for subway temperatures in both summer and winter, production systems and the use of renewable energy sources were part of the project for electricity by wind turbines, recycling of snow melt water and, finally, ice for campus treatment and for its green areas.
