Property in Rue des Archives, Paris.

Rehabilitation and revaluation of a building dating from 1630 located in the Marais, a conservation area in the center of Paris. The building contained medieval caves and ribbed vaults, as well as parts of a medieval courtyard with false- arched façades, including some fragments of Philip Augustus’s Wall in the basement.

Due to the danger of collapse of the building, all the degraded wooden frameworks were replaced by a new wooden structure, preserving the parts not affected by structural degradation.

The building has received the prestigious “Care D’Argent” Geste d’Or award in the category of “ Heritage Building-Rehabilitation” in 2022.
